Misadventures across the pond

3 notes

So today Kathryn led the way, and we made our way to Waterloo - with a stopoff at Goodge Street, in an unsuccessful attempt to get me some Iced Buns - and we came our of the Waterloo Station (they have Krispy Kremes~ SOMEDAY) to be treated to this:

Uuugh and I guess they’re installing a new Imax screen and Spider-man’ll be the first thing on it though it’ll have to be my second viewing because it doesn’t re-open until the 5th but yessssss Spider-man in Imax 3-D——

I’m actually very distraught that I can’t buy Midnight (do they even have midnight screenings here?) yet. Or tickets in general, yet. But soon.

Anyways, we wandered our way down the Thames to try and find some lunch. The weather bounced between being gorgeous and raining, which I suppose is something I should get used to and in truth it’s not that different from home, so whatever. Then we went to Mediatheque, which is this charming little room with a bunch of screens and you get a ticket and watch whatever you want off their video library for free. I watched Torchwood. -w-

Then we came home and I napped and then I had dinner and Fate/Zero STILL ISN’T ONLINE but there was a new episode of Avengers featuring Spider-Man and Wolverine fighting dinosaurs, so I guess that’ll have to do.

Also thanks to Cass my nails complemented the sand quite nicely, which I’d not even realized.
